Who I Work With

Therapy for ADHD, Autism & Neurodivergent Adults

I work primarily with adults and teenagers (15+) who are autistic, have ADHD, or suspect they may be neurodivergent. Many of my clients come to therapy for the first time after receiving a diagnosis. Others have always known they were different but never had the right kind of support.

Therapy with me is neurodiversity-affirming, practical, and compassionate. You don’t need to mask, over-explain, or justify your experiences — this is a space where your differences are understood and respected.

Common Reasons Clients Come to Therapy

You might be:

  • Newly diagnosed and figuring out what this means for your life

  • Exploring diagnosis and wanting a safe space to talk it through

  • Living with co-occurring challenges such as anxiety, depression, or burnout

  • Feeling exhausted from masking and trying to “fit in”

  • Looking for practical strategies that actually work for your brain

  • Seeking validation and understanding from someone who truly gets it

Support for Co-Occurring Mental Health Challenges

ADHD and autism often overlap with other mental health concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and overthinking

  • Depression or low mood

  • Emotional intensity and overwhelm

  • Burnout from years of masking or unmet support needs

Therapy provides space to address these challenges in a way that’s adapted to your needs and goals.

Why Clients Choose My Practice

  • Specialist focus – I work specifically with neurodivergent clients, rather than trying to “fit” you into a neurotypical model.

  • Lived experience – as someone with ADHD, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding.

  • Inclusive environment – my practice is autism-friendly accredited, wheelchair accessible, and sensory-adaptable.

  • Flexible formats – choose in-person therapy in Limerick or secure online sessions, depending on your needs.
