The room can be transformed into a sensory room and takes individual needs into account, The aim of this therapy is to help you cope better and build behavioural skills to improve everyday life. Individuals on the autism spectrum can have challenges that are unique. Modified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help deal with anger, anxiety, depression/ low mood, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social difficulties, communication difficulties, sexuality, transitioning, and building self-esteem and self-awareness.

I offer support for people coming to terms with a new diagnosis. Parents and siblings can come to therapy to discuss their challenges and stressors you may have. You may also what to deal with other issues and learn to cope better in life. We can build strategies to improve your wellbeing and strengthen understanding, communication and relationships in the family. I have post graduate certificate in Autism Studies in Mary Immaculate College and in partnership Middletown Centre for Autism. I have gained experience in counselling autistic people at my private practice and at Autism Supporting Diversity Ireland
