About Robert

Therapy is personal — and finding the right therapist can make all the difference. I’m Robert Rackley, a neurodivergent psychotherapist based in Limerick, specialising in ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence.

This section will help you get to know me: my background, my approach, my lived experience, and how to contact me. Whether you’re here for therapy, training, or speaking, my goal is the same — to create a safe, affirming space where you can explore challenges, develop strategies, and feel understood.

I’m an accredited psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in mental health, specialising in working with neurodivergent adults. My work is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience — I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, which gave me a unique perspective on the challenges and strengths of neurodivergence.

Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse mental health settings, including:

  • Pieta House – supporting individuals through crisis intervention and ongoing therapy

  • Croom Family Resource Centre – delivering community-based mental health support

  • Autism Supporting Diversity Ireland – providing specialist therapy and advocacy for autistic individuals and their families

Now, in private practice, I provide tailored support for autistic and ADHD adults, alongside training and public speaking to help others work more effectively with neurodivergent people.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m passionate about advocacy, public education, and making mental health spaces more accessible to those who have often been overlooked.

If you have any questions or need assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.
